I’m Emily, a freelance landscape architect based between London and Malaga. I have been working full time as a freelance landscape architect since 2019 working with a few larger landscape architecture companies as well as taking on smaller projects directly. I have helped kick start the in-house BIM production team for Re-form landscape architects in 2023 and contributed to project work for HTA Architects, however, the majority of my time is spent on larger public realm projects that I work on with LDA Design.
Prior to being a freelancer I was employed at LDA Design between 2016 & 2019 and Churchman Landscape Architects 2014-2015.
I have an MSc. (class distinction) in landscape architecture from Edinburgh University and am a chartered landscape architect in the UK (since 2018).
I am originally from Wales but have lived, worked and studied all over the world and am particularly interested in the role landscape plays in culture and innovative approaches to design.
I have extensive experience in high-end public realm design and have recently also taken an interest in smaller more personal garden projects.
Asides from landscape architecture I love reading, painting, travelling, socialising and have a small artisanal brandy liqueur brand called Caru which I started in 2022.
