Westferry Printworks is a large multi use development on the Isle of Dogs - expected to provide over 1300 new homes. The project has been running since 2016 and currently engaged in a complicated planning application process. The design itself is an exemplar project for waterside development with an emphasis in the masterplan on a substantial and high quality public realm. Proud to have worked on this project with LDA Design since 2016.

The plot consists of 3 blocks joined together over a coach carpark for the stadium in the Wembley Park masterplan. The concept design for the roof terraces and podium was quirky and fun, based on a quintessentially English theme. This was an interesting exercise in out of the box specification and considering how to express modern and historical popular culture in traditional realms. Project with LDA Design.

Aberfeldy Village is a large award winning regeneration scheme in East London. The public realm comprises of a new market square, a revamped high street, a number of new green streets, community lane central pedestrian network and 5 public parks. Station Hill, Reading, is an on going project of three phases linking the fore court of Reading train station to it’s main shopping street. Phase 1 consists of 2 large residential blocks and a shopping street whilst phase 2 is a large mixed use office block with a substantial area of public realm and new plaza. Phase 1 has recently undergone practical completion & Phase 2 is currently under construction due to be handed over in October. Project with LDA Design.

This project is a plot in a newly proposed leisure complex in Saudi Arabia. The plot has a 5* & 4* hotel and long stay apartment blocks. The landscape comprises a welcome plaza, arrival road and private courtyards. My involvement was mostly contributing to modelling the project for BIM requirements.

A pasivhaus masterplan design in Tower Hamlets London. We were involved in the project until stage 4. The most challenging part of the project was the proposed sky gardens. My involvement in this project was mostly with the execution of BIM requirements and detailing during tender phases. LDA Design, Image by APT Architects).

A quick conceptual exercise for a garden to help the client understand the space available and explore various design options possible. A modern tone and geometric pattern were the clients’ preference.

Three plots in the Wembley Park development adjacent to the stadium - all three are primarily residential blocks. NW06 podium is the courtyard to the NW06 building plot. The podium sits between 4 towers with adjacent substantial public realm down at ground level. The design is neat and modern to match the architecture whilst maximising usable space and working to the sites constraints. All three plots have substantial public realm as well as roof gardens and podium shared private spaces. Project with LDA Design.

A small private garden project in Winchester. This project faced challenges with levels and budget. The clients’ vision was to modernise the garden whilst making the space more usable and family friendly.

A long and narrow private garden in Cardiff. The clients wanted a functional garden materially harmonious with the interior of the house incorporating a lawn and firepit. The style was a modern twist on the roaring 20s.
